Pastor Maniram Sukhdeo has been associated with Telugu Fellowship of Tampa from the beginning. He is also associated with various churches and ministries in the Indian community in and around Tampa. He received Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a very young age. He preached his first sermon at the age of 19. He became involved in Sunday school, Youth meeting and Street ministry. He accepted the Lord’s call to full time ministry in 1988. He has served in many different capacities over the years in the Church. He has a heart to reach the unreached and help people to persevere in the faith.
Pastor Francis Moka, originally from Kakinada, India. His father Stephen, was a former Hindu priest, encountered the life-changing power of the Gospel during his college years through a friend. After transformation, Stephen, responding to the call of God, dedicated his life to ministry and planted a church in the village of Madhavapatnam in 1986. He has been faithfully pastoring ever since.
Growing up, Francis witnessed firsthand how the Gospel transformed lives in his community. After earning a master’s degree in engineering, he responded to God’s call to ministry and served alongside his father as an Associate Pastor at Christ Church for two years. Seeking to deepen his theological foundation, he pursued an M.Div. at Moody Theological Seminary, where he was actively involved in a multinational church plant in Chicago (a campus of Park Community Church) for three years.
Following his seminary training, Francis served as a Pastoral Resident at Woodside Bible Church in Detroit for two years. With a deep burden for the nations, he desires to see the same Gospel impact that changed his father’s life reach international students on college campuses. Currently, he serves through the ministry of International Students, Inc. (ISI) at the University of South Florida, engaging with students from diverse backgrounds.
Francis is also pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree, focusing on reaching unreached people groups around the world. He is an active member of the Tampa Telugu Fellowship and is passionate about sharing Christ with the Telugu community and beyond.
